Knowing that it’s likely to be on many of our customers’ minds, we want to let you know what we’re doing here at Sharpham to ensure the protection of you and of our small team.
Firstly we’d like to assure you that it is business as usual here. Our shop is open and we are still hosting our reduced early season tour schedule, which will move on to the full schedule in April. Our on-site al fresco kitchen is due to open for the season on 27th March.
Coronavirus is not considered a food safety issue by the Food Standards Agency or the EFSA (European Food Standards Authority) and being a producer of high quality international award winning wine and cheese means we already maintain very high standards of hygiene. We will be sure to maintain these and have also briefed our team to go above and beyond and follow Public Health England and NHS guidelines in all areas.
If you have a tour booked and are unable or would prefer not to attend, please let us know and we will look at rescheduling your booking. We request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you’d like to amend a booking.
As previously stated, it is business as usual unless we release a statement saying otherwise.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sharpham soon.
