FAQs

A selection of some of our more Frequently Asked Questions here at Sandridge Barton, which hopefully answer your concerns before you arrive. If you're still unsure about something, just head over to our contact us page and leave us a message and we'll come back to you as soon as we can.

Can I bring my dog with me to Sandridge Barton?
We love dogs and allow well behaved dogs as long as they're kept on lead. Please ensure to clean up after your dog so the site is nice for all to enjoy. We do have livestock around public areas so for the health and safety of our farm animals please be responsible.
Is there any parking?
We have parking in our parking barn and some gravel parking just outside the barn for longer vehicles. Disabled parking is located through the parking barn and in front of the Farmhouse.
Can children attend tastings?
Whilst no under 18 can drink alcohol in any of our tastings, they can still join you. We recommened the self-guided tasting option if you're with children or babies as it is more of a casual experience.
What do I need to bring to a tour or tasting?
If you're booked onto a tour or tasting please wear suitable footwear and clothing as your experince may include a walk.
Can we arrive by boat?
Unfortunately not directly. The nearest public quay is Stoke Gabriel and then we are a 1 mile walk away from there.
Do you serve food?
We have an amazing on-site restaurant call Circa at Sandridge Barton. Please see the restaurant page for their sample menu and contact details. We strongly advise booking as they do get very busy!
Do you have electric car charging points?
This is currently not available but is part of our future plans.
How long does a wine tasting / wine tour last for?
Our Guided Tastings last for about an hour. The Self-Guided Wine Tasting you also get an hour-long slot, but this can be extended if you contact a member of staff, providing we have space.
Can you visit the vineyard?
We have just opened a new walking trail that goes up to our new vineyard, 'Stonyfield'. The trail is about 1.5km and can take anywhere between 30-45 minutes. We have created this trail on land around some woodland that then leads into our new vineyard, so suitable footwear is essential as some parts are steep and muddy. We have also installed information boards and brass rubbing posts for kids.
