Sharpham Wine has moved downriver to a Stoke Gabriel vineyard that has been producing grapes for our award-winning wines for years

Award-winning English wines from the heart of the Dart Valley, Devon.

Nestled in a picturesque valley in the South Hams, Sandridge Barton Wines may appear to be a new face on the UK wine scene, but our Devon-based vineyard and winery has been growing grapes since 2008, producing over 80 tonnes of fruit per year from our 32 acre vineyard. Set in a south-facing bowl and overlooking the River Dart, our vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier, Madeleine Angevine, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc.

A unique combination of climate, soil and grape varieties, added to our meticulous care, experience and winemaking skills, make us one of the foremost English wine producers.

Keeping The Rural Environment Alive

Classic English wines are produced at Sandridge Barton as a result of a happy marriage of soil, climate and grape variety, known as terroir. We employ both New World and traditional techniques to best develop our unique regional characteristics.

The new state-of-the-art winery and visitor centre have been designed with sustainability in mind, using solar panels, rainwater harvesting, air-source heat pumps and spring water extraction to reduce our carbon footprint.
