As part of Devon Open Studios, we're please to welcome back black and white film photographer Catherine Bedford and sculptor James Williams for the whole month of September.

Our Saturday Sessions bring upbeat daytime energy with a mix of live musicians and vibrant DJ sets. This week features James, one of the South West’s most in‑demand sax players, known for over 20 years of genre‑spanning performances. Reserve a table via our self‑guided wine tasting page, or simply wander in — there’s always space on the lawn or a picnic blanket. Music from 4pm-7pm.

Archaeologist Alan Endacott and Archaeo-astronomer Carolyn Kennett delve into theories around Dartmoor's ritual landscapes, presented by Dartmoor Preservation Association.

Join us for a fascinating evening as we delve into the history and theories around Dartmoor's ritual landscapes. Carolyn and Alan will share insights into the celestial alignment, and potential purposes, of Dartmoor's standing stones, stone circles and stone rows.

Immerse yourself in the rewarding block printing process and create a beautifully unique piece of hand printed fabric. Be inspired by the surrounding landscape and vine yards of Sandridge Barton Wines.

Attendees will get to take home their printed fabric and hand cut lino blocks to use in future projects.

This session is suitable for beginners or those with a little print experience who would like to expand their skills and knowledge.

Based in South Devon, Lizzie Kirwan is a ceramicist and painter whose work is inspired by texture and form. 

She creates organic ceramic sculptures and abstract paintings that explore connection, transformation and the beauty of imperfection.

Her recent ceramic work draws on the strength and diversity of the female form, while her painting practice—begun in early 2026—offers an exploration of landscape through colour and texture.

Lizzie Kirwan hosts a relaxed afternoon of clay and creativity in this hand-building pottery workshop where you’ll create your own ceramic piece while enjoying a glass of wine. A perfect slow Sunday afternoon of making, sipping and good company. Book by emailing lizziekirwanceramics@gmail.com

Carve your own wooden cooking spoon in a relaxed, hands‑on workshop led by Alex Finberg, author of Spoon Carving: From Log to Spoon. Using simple hand tools and traditional techniques, you’ll shape a spoon from a blank and leave with new skills and a piece you can proudly use at home. The session takes place in the Vine Room with time to enjoy the vineyard, order from the bar snack menu or book lunch at ROAM. All tools and materials are provided, along with tea, coffee and biscuits. A £15 drinks package is available, including a hot drink on arrival and a Sandridge Barton wine flight after the workshop.

Join an inspiring group of Dartmoor writers, poets, storytellers and singers in celebrating the diversity of inspiration which this special landscape provides, presented by the Dartmoor Preservation Association.

A laid‑back indoor DJ session channelling the shift in seasons as James G brings a gentle blend of slow‑burning grooves, dub‑tinted disco and ambient house — the kind that drifts through an afternoon and settles into deeper, hypnotic rhythms as the afternoon fades into evening. Expect a mellow, unhurried atmosphere, good tunes and lovely company in a beautiful setting. Grab a table via our self‑guided tasting page . Music from 4pm-8pm.

Create a beautifully unique fabric wreath to decorate your house this festive season. Choose from a range of fabrics to suit your colour scheme.

This is really relaxed session with no experience necessary. Perfect for catching up with friends and enjoying a selection of Sandridge Barton wines.

Ticket also includes a hot drink of your choice on arrival and Wine Flight: Select four Sandridge Barton wines which will be presented in a basket with a tasting note booklet.

An inspiring day of creative exploration and relaxation, combining the calming practice of yoga with the inspiration of life drawing, led by yoga instructor Ashleigh and oil painter Ian. This unique collaboration is designed to help you find or rediscover your creative flow.

A lively, hands‑on fermenting workshop exploring the delicious world of gut‑friendly foods. Over two fun hours, you’ll learn simple, fuss‑free techniques to make probiotic‑rich ferments at home, with tasty samples and refreshments along the way. Perfect for beginners or food lovers, this interactive session covers the basics of the gut microbiome, why fermented foods are so beneficial, and how easy they are to create with minimal equipment. You’ll leave with your own jars, recipes and the confidence to keep fermenting. Please bring a couple of jars to fill.

Our bar will be open from 6pm until 11pm pouring our brand new wines from the 2026 vintage all night, plus all the other wines of course. ROAM will be providing French-inspired stews with fresh bread, cheese and charcuterie to pair with the wines. An entry fee of £8.00 gets you a free glass of wine on arrival then you can order freely from the menu all night.

Kick things off with a behind the scenes tour of the winery and a breakdown on how this year’s harvest shaped up. We’ll taste a couple of wines straight from tank and dive into the story behind our much-loved New Release and taste the new vintage.

After that, you’ll be seated in ROAM restaurant for a French-inspired feast made with the finest Devon produce. Wines will be available to order from the menu (not included in the ticket price), and yes—the New Release will be flowing.
