Sandridge Barton is an award-winning vineyard and wine producer in South Devon, with over 45 years of history making wine on the banks of the river Dart. We welcome visitors year-round to experience our practices from start to finish and to share our passion for winemaking with everybody.
How to get to us, either walking, via public transport, cycling or by car.
We are less than a mile walk away from Stoke Gabriel which is the nearest village. You can walk a footpath from the creek via Millpool and join Byter Mill Lane, avoiding roads, which brings you up to a bridge at the bottom of a hill. Here you take a right and walk up the road for 2 minutes. You can then enter our trade / walkers entrance.
The nearest train stations are Totnes and Paignton, both are 5 miles away, both of which are on the main line from London Paddington. Onward journey by either bus or taxi is then recommended.
From both Totnes and Paignton you can get the 'Gold' bus to 'The Parkers Arms' before changing onto the '125' and getting off at 'Four Cross Lanes'. We are then a 0.6 mile walk from here.
Taxis from Torbay on 01803 211611 (Torbay Taxis). From Totnes on 01803 732834 (Roadrunner) or 01803 840400 (Badger Cabs).
