Pinot Rosé 2022

As if by chance, our new Pinot Rosé 2022 is ready and available...just in time for the summer!

2022 was a phenomenal harvest, potentially the best we’ve ever had, and our new Pinot Rosé really does capture that hot summer and shows it off in every sip.

This year, the blend is 74% Pinot Noir and 26% Pinot Meunier, hence the new shortened name ‘Pinot Rosé’. The fruit was both whole bunch and whole berry pressed to maximise colour and flavour before fermenting spontaneously with indigenous vineyard yeasts in stainless steel tanks.

The resulting wine is pale yet vivid in colour, with vibrant aromas of strawberry, raspberry and red cherry. The palate is dry, fresh and lifted with summer berry flavours and a nice red currant acidity. Overall, it’s ripe, fruity and refreshingly mouth-watering, just what you want from a rosé on a warm summer’s day!
