
ROAM is open for lunch five-days-a-week for lunch and for now for dinner on Friday evenings serving up an ever-changing ingrediant-led and seasonal menu.
Led by local hospitality veteran Ian Alexander, ROAM is built on a simple idea: food that’s thoughtful, seasonal, and full of character. The menus follow the rhythm of the land, with ingredients grown, raised, and foraged on the estate and nearby—meat from the farm, veg from the kitchen garden, and produce from no-dig growers and regenerative farms.
In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Blood brings bold, bistro-style cooking rooted in European and Basque traditions. Out front, Miles Tuddenham (formerly of Noble Rot, Planque, and Norman’s Café) leads a team focused on relaxed, generous hospitality shaped by the pace of the countryside and the flow of the Dart.
The space is simple and welcoming—pale timber, natural textures, and plenty of light. With a guest chef residency programme in the works, there’s always something new to discover.
