The unique climate and beauty of the Dart Valley captured within every bottle.
By the spring of 2022 Sharpham Wine, from staff to equipment will be settled into our new home and soon we'll be ready to open our doors and welcome you all.
Over the coming months we'll be revealing more about what 2022 at Sandridge Barton will look like. It'll be wonderful to soon show you around as well as take you on tours of our vines, give you tastings of the wines and raise a toast to new adventures to come.
Sandridge Barton Wine may appear to be a new face on the UK wine scene, but our Devon based vineyard and winery has been producing grapes since 2008. Producing over 60 tonnes of fruit from our main 24 acre vineyard. All our grapes are hand picked.
Overlooking the river Dart, the views are unique and inspire us daily. Hidden gems have been discovered such as an unusual limestone ridge, the soil of Burgundy and many other famous wine region’s across the world. This has given us a further opportunity to plant Burgundy Pinot Noir (red wine) clones on our new 8 acre Stony Field vineyard.
Working with a local architectural practice, we are creating a new visitor center at a former dairy farm on the Sandridge Barton estate. From reusing beams to retaining original features that reflect the history of the buildings, with sustainability at the heart of the development.
